MONTERR

Monterr is a multidisciplinary design and research laboratory based in Mexico City, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of design, architecture, and biomaterials innovation through the exploration of sustainable materials and creative solutions.

Our team of experts collaborates closely with our biomaterials laboratory to develop environmentally conscious design strategies and applications that merge science, art, and ecology.

In parallel, Monterr extends this research into the realm of functional and medicinal fungi, exploring their therapeutic potential to create bioactive formulations, natural health solutions, and tinctures that align with our commitment to sustainability, regeneration, and wellbeing.

“We are passionate about harnessing the unique properties of natural and fungi-based materials to create functional and aesthetically compelling objects, spaces, and structures.”
